Under the leadership
of Hudson Fortune and the Team Chicago
Staff,
Team Chicago teams consistently finish among the top teams in the
highest divisions of the Northern Illinois Soccer League and the
Illinois Women's Soccer League.
The club serves the Naperville/Aurora, Illinois area and surrounding
communities in the western suburbs of Chicago by providing year
around soccer excellence training and development programs for youth
typically from U6 through U19. Team Chicago provides
licensing for all coaches, and offers coaching
sessions that focus on the best methods of developing youth soccer.
Team Chicago Pro Academy Players
Team Chicago uses its U5/U6/U7 Team Chicago Pro Academy Level
to begin to develop essential soccer skills. Academy Level teams receive
training and play small sided games on Saturdays. There are fall and
spring sessions outdoors and 3 indoor sessions in the winter
U7 through U10 Teams
Team Chicago uses its U5/U6/U7 Team Chicago Pro Academy Level to begin to develop
essential soccer skills. Academy Level teams play in the Wheatland
Athletic Association's challenge recreation division on Saturdays,
and plays in 1-2 indoor sessions in the winter.
Traveling soccer leagues typically begin at the U8 (under 8 years of age) level
with a 10 game fall and a 10 game spring season with most games played in
the surrounding communities. Team Chicago forms its youngest teams at
U7. All teams play three indoor sessions in the
winter.
Team Chicago emphasizes training and playing time for its developmental-age
teams. Each U7 through U10 team participates in three
skills camps over the course of the year and receives professional
training sessions during the year.
U11 through U14 Teams
League play is during the fall and spring seasons, with games held
mostly on Sunday afternoons. All teams play three indoor
sessions in the winter..
Each U11 through U14 team participates in three
soccer skills camps
during the year. Camps are held prior to the fall season, during
the winter (indoors), and at the beginning of the spring season. Each team has
a professional coach for the fall, winter and spring seasons.
