Team Chicago Pro Academy Introduction
Team Chicago Pro Academy is
designed to teach young players (5, 6, 7 year olds) the fundamentals of
soccer in a fun and exciting environment. Team Chicago Pro Academy is a little more
advanced than the traditional recreational program. It is meant for the child who has
already participated in a rec clinic or indoor soccer program, and has a
basic understanding of the game. The indoor program will include a
training with scrimmage session each time slot. The outdoor
program consists of one practice and one game per week. Each
session lasts one hour.
Training and games
will take place at PlayUSA, located at 2323
Liberty St in Aurora or at Good Templar
Park in Geneva.
Fundamental skills
such as dribbling, shooting, passing and goal keeping will be taught,
with an emphasis on skill development and ball control. Team Chicago
teaches a Brazilian style of soccer through the use of “cool moves” and
individual development.

on to friends and neighbors who might be interested, as well.
The kids should wear a
yellow Team Chicago t-shirt (available in the TC office for $10.00 if you
don’t have one already). Please have shin guards, cleats or gym shoes,
a size 3 ball with name and phone number on it, and a water bottle.
